17-month-old injured in Bendix Drive hit-and-run crash has passed away

SOUTH BEND, Ind.— The 17-month-old injured in the hit-and-run crash on Bendix Drive on December 16 has died.
Isabelle Jasper, 17 months old, was declared deceased at approximately 1:30 p.m. on December 20.
Following her death, the Prosecutor’s Office may file additional charges against the suspect in the crash, Joel Barrozo.
There are three total fatalities resulting from the crash.
