20 Potential jurors selected in underwear bomber case
DETRIOT, Mich. -- The jury selection continues today in the underwear bomber case.
Twenty potential jurors have been selected so far for the trial of a Nigerian man, accused of trying to bring down a Detroit-bound jetliner with a bomb in his underwear.
It happened back in 2009. Tuesday in court 6 of the 20 accepted jurors were women. The judge and attorneys are seeking a pool of about 40 people from which a 12-member jury and four alternates will be seated.
