Notre Dame vs. Indiana and how to avoid scammers
SOUTH BEND, Ind -- 32 players drafted in round one of the 2022 NFL draft and teams are locking in on the defensive side of the ball.
Teams rolled the dice on the defensive talent in this year's draft.
One team in particular are Baltimore Ravens who selected Notre Dame’s Kyle Hamilton with the 14th overall pick.
"I’m super excited to be a Raven. It doesn’t even sound right saying that. It’s crazy. I don’t think I'll get used to that for a minute," said Hamilton.
Hamilton’s size will only enhance a gritty defensive unit in Baltimore bringing his 6'4 stature to cover the field.
"It’s a great situation I’m going into. At the end of the day, looking back on it, it’s the perfect thing that could have happened to me," said Hamilton.
The draft started with the 2021 national champs.
The Georgia Bulldogs defensive end Travon Walker drafted number one overall to the Jacksonville Jaguars making him the first of five drafted players from Georgia in the first round setting a NFL draft record.
Following Walker at number two overall, the hometown kid Aidan Hutchinson out of the University of Michigan is staying in Motown, drafted by the Detroit Lions.
