SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- South Bend's Near Northwest Neighborhood hosted its 21st annual art cafe, drawing 1,000 visitors. Although the neighborhood is small, its residents take pride in their creations. All vendors, including 30 artisans and 15 booths, were local to the neighborhood or South Bend.
The main attraction is the free horse-drawn wagon ride. The event also features a dedicated kids' area with games and crafts, two live music zones, and a variety of food vendors mostly serving Mexican-style dishes.
The proceeds support the NNN's nonprofit mission to build affordable housing and engage the community.
