SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The 26th annual St. Patrick's Day Parade took place on Saturday in Downtown South Bend.
The parade is a cherished tradition attracting thousands of people and includes the greening of the East Race and a concert in Sykes Park.
The event features 50 units, including bagpipers, Irish dancers, and the Guinness truck.
Willow Wetherall, Executive Director for South Bend, stated, "I just love all of the people who are walking in the parade, but also just watching people show up when they're all like they're decorated. They've got cool hats on cool outfits. I just love seeing people get in the spirit, but we've got bagpipers and Irish dancers. The Guinness truck is in the parade, so lots of fun stuff to see today."
