35-year-old motorcyclist dead after crash with parked SUV

WALKERTON, Ind. -- The Walkerton Police Department reports officers responded to a motorcycle crash at a residence on Lake Street around 5:07 a.m., Tuesday.
The report states a 35-year-old motorcyclist, identified as Lyle D. Francis Jr., was heading south on Lake Street through a curve when he left the road in the curve.
Police say Francis continued south through yards until he collided with a parked SUV in a driveway near Lawrence Street.
Francis died at the scene and police say the crash remains under investigation.
