37-year-old gunshot victim dies in Benton Township

BENTON HARBOR, Mich. - A 37-year-old female gunshot victim was found lying in a hallway with several gunshot wounds to the chest, according to Benton Charter Township Police.
A Medic 1 ambulance arrived and began life saving measures, but the victim died shortly after arriving to Corewell Health Lakeland E.R.
The Benton Township Police have not located a suspect at this time.
