8.0 Earthquake triggers tsunami

SOLOMON ISLANDS — The Solomon Islands were hit by an 8.0 magnitude earthquake. And the quake triggered a localized tsunami.
The center of the quake was located near a remote eastern part of the islands known as the Santa Cruz Islands.
At least five people, four elderly and one child, have died.
