MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind. -- On Dec. 28, at approximately 8:12 p.m., the Marshall County Coroner’s Office was notified of a death in the Emergency Room of St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Plymouth. 

The deceased was the driver, an 80-year-old female of a 2024 Nissan passenger car that was westbound on S.R. 10 and entered the path of a southbound vehicle on US 31.

According to Marshall County Deputy Coroner John Lampkins, the driver died from Multiple Blunt Force Injuries resulting from the crash.

Additional details regarding the crash and the other driver will be released by the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office.
