S.R. 8 will close temporarily on Sep. 2, for at least three weeks

INDOT LA PORTE COUNTY, Ind. -- S.R. 8 will close for at least three weeks for a bridge maintenance project starting Sep. 2.
The bridge deck overlay preventative maintenance project is between C.R. 400 west and S.R. 39.
Drivers are encouraged to seek alternative routes with the official detour will follow U.S. 421, U.S. 30 and S.R. 39.
