LAPORTE COUNTY, Ind. -- The La Porte City Park Foundation is hosting their Picnic Under the Stars Gala on Friday, November 21 at the Civic Auditorium beginning at 6 P.M.

The event is titled Picinic Under The Stars: La Porte's Night To Shine, which captures the spirit of the event and the deeper story behind it. 

La Porte's parks bring people together, and how neighbors quietly help them thrive. 

This enchanting evening will include dinner and desserts by Downs Family Catering and a performance by American Idol alumni Marriani Fleming. 

Explore an art gallery and auction filled with one-of-a-kind treasures. There will also be keepsake ornaments and a signature scent experience. 

Tickets are priced at $50 and each ticket purchased helps the La Porte City Park foundation preserve and upgrade the parks that bring joy their community.
