Despite a chilly and below-freezing start to Friday, the last weekday of the month offers up 50s later this afternoon alongside plenty of sunshine for the entirety of Michiana. A cold front later tonight drops us back below freezing and slightly increases cloud cover. Saturday starts off cooler, in the upper 30s, but remains generally quiet until the late afternoon. Scattered snow showers will possibly develop and move from north to south Saturday evening, not accumulating more than an inch anywhere in Michiana. Our high temperatures don't get above freezing on Sunday as the area prepares for another chance of snow. If wintry weather can develop Sunday, it likely won't be noticeable until Sunday night into Monday morning when accumulation is expected to begin. The general track of the system responsible for Sunday snow seems to be too far south of us at this point for any significant impacts, but communities along and south of US-30 have a better chance of seeing snow than those north of the road.
Today: Mostly sunny. High 54.
