Jackie Walorski was a highly respected, loved and admired Congresswoman who represented Indiana's 2nd District. She was killed in a two-vehicle head-on crash on Aug. 3, 2022. That crash also claimed the lives of her communication director, Emma Thomson, and Zachery Potts, her district director. The driver of the other vehicle, Edith Schmucker of Nappanee, also died in the collision.
