ABC57 News celebrates one year in the morning

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – On Wednesday ABC 57 News celebrated its very first newscast.
Today, it’s the morning show’s turn to celebrate. April 5, 2011 was the first morning newscast.
In a year's time, we've been live at two NCAA championships, Super Bowl XLVI and the Indy 500, as well as a plane, train, helicopter, carnival ride, boat, horse, snow inner tube, and even an elevator ride to the top of the Chase Tower.
We've also brought live backpack technology to Michiana. That means our reporters are able to go live virtually anywhere.
We look forward to many more years of waking up with you and covering news in a different way here in Michiana.
