Hot and Humid Independence Day, Storms return Sunday
Highs cool slightly today, reaching into the middle to upper 80s. You may need your umbrella today as an isolated shower/storm is possible today. Otherwise plan on seeing a mix of sun and clouds with mostly cloudy conditions at times. Humidity hangs on through Saturday with more storms in the forecast for both Friday and Saturday. A cold front sweeps through the region early Sunday, bringing a relief from the heat and humidity.
Thursday: Mix of sun and clouds, isolated shower/storm, high in the upper 80s.
Tonight: Partly cloudy, low of 66.
Friday: PM scattered storms, highs in the upper 80s.
Saturday: Scattered showers and storms, highs in the upper 80s.
