ELKHART, Ind. -- Mark Clodfelter of Madison, Alabama traveled 550 miles to Elkhart to claim his new 2023 Super Nobo travel trailer that he won off a raffle ticket that cost him only $20.
This prize was awarded in a raffle hosted by an Elkhart County charity raffle. The Clodfelter family retrieved their new trailer at the Recreational Vehicle Museum and Hall of Fame in Elkhart.
Clodfelter says he normally does not click on similar looking advertisements, but bought a raffle ticket for $20 in December for a chance to win the new trailer.
“I looked at it and it looked interesting, so I filled out the form and sent it in the next day. About a month later I got an email saying you’ve won a sweepstakes. After about a week, I confirmed that we actually won and I was just stunned. I couldn’t believe it but here we are”, said Clodfelter.
All the money raised from the raffle will go to help Care Camps summer camp programs for children with cancer whose families could not afford otherwise.
