American Airlines cancels more flights

A major airline is canceling more flights.

American Airlines annouced that it is canceling more than 30 flights every day through the middle of November because of continued financial problems and labor issues.

The airline has already canceled more than 1,000 flights and delayed about 12,000 more.

All of those have come over the last month.

The company says it hopes the cancellations will get its performance levels back to normal.
