Amid a dangerous shortage of donated blood in hospitals, the American Red Cross has announced new drawings that blood donors will be entered into that include a home theater package, a getaway trip to the Super Bowl and more.
Hospitals could be forced to delay patient care that requires blood transfusions if the current lack of blood donors persists into the future.
Anyone that donates blood through the American Red Cross by January 2 will receive a free long-sleeve t-shirt.
Donors that give blood through the American Red Cross during the month of January will be entered for a chance to win a $500 gift card, a home theater package or even a getaway trip to the Super Bowl.
