Anonymous Skype user threatens teen

SMYRNA, Tenn. -- A teen in Tennessee felt so threatened by cyber-bullying that she went to the cops.

They are now investigating an anonymous Skype user who has been threatening the girl and her family.

She said the user contacted her and seemed to know everything about her and when she refused to video chat with the person, the messages became angry.

She said the messages mentioned her cousin by name and what school she went to. That is when she decided to get police involved.

The lesson the victime wants others to take from this is to never disregard threats even if they are made on-line. She suggest talking to your mom or dad and call the cops if necessary.
