Local candidates who are running for St. Joseph County Auditor were invited to make a statement at a public forum hosted by the American Democracy Project and the League of Women Voters.
We have a statement from John Murphy, the Democrat who is running unopposed in the primary.
Forum organizers extended the invitation to Republican candidate Desmont Upchurch. Upchurch did not participate.
Indiana’s primary election is May 3.
