Area schools sending students to spell bowl finals

MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- Some Michiana students are on their way to the spell bowl finals at Purdue.
Penn High School's Spell Bowl squad won its 15th consecutive regional spelling competition.
In the process of winning, the Penn team qualified for the state finals next month.
Penn and one other school were the only teams with perfect scores statewide.
