Benton Harbor High School hosts Black History roundtable and luncheon
ABC 57 BENTON HARBOR, Mich. -- Benton Harbor High School will host Our Story, Our Voice, a family and community Black History roundtable and luncheon on Thursday, Feb. 19.
The event is designed to bring together students, families, clergy, community leaders and staff for a solutions-focused dialogue centered on unity, wellness, safety and collaborative leadership.
The event is intimately related to themes of Black history, drawing from the past to connect present-day action through the Seven Principles of Kwanzaa.
The program will feature a community leadership panel and facilitated roundtable discussions, followed by a luncheon prepared and served by the BHHS (Career and Technical Education) Culinary Team.
The roundtable and luncheon will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Benton Harbor High School Library.
