Berrien County Sheriff's Office holds kid's camp

BERRIEN SPRINGS, Mich. -- Several kids got to become cops for the day at a summer camp in Berrien County.

The sheriff's office held its seventh annual kids camp at the Berrien County fairgrounds in Berrien Springs, Michigan.

The two-day camp is packed with safety tips and hands on demonstrations.

"We are out here trying to serve the public, help people, and that’s why we do this, to give them a different perspective and see the other side of police work that they don’t always get to see," said Sheriff Roy Davis.

The money raised from the camp goes to the county's law enforcement explorer program.
