Tolson Center ELKHART, Ind. -- The Tolson Center for Community Excellence, in partnership with the National Pan-Hellenic Council South Bend, will host a Black History Month celebration titled “I Am Black History” on Feb. 27 at 6:00 p.m. at the Tolson Center for Community Excellence, located at 1320 Benham Avenue.
The event is free and open to the public and welcomes families, students, educators, community members, and supporters to attend and celebrate Black excellence, resilience, and legacy.
This special evening will spotlight Tolson Center for Community Excellence students as they present and honor historic leaders of the Divine Nine the nine historically Black Greek-letter organizations that have played a critical role in advancing scholarship, leadership, civic engagement, and social justice across generations.
