Black Lives Matter to hold two peaceful protests in South Bend on Monday, June 8th

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The Black Lives Matter South Bend Chapter will be holding two peaceful protests in South Bend on Monday, June 8th. The protests will be directed toward South Bend Common Council President Tim Scott and the Council’s vote on approving a pay increase for police.

According to BLM, they are demanding the defunding of the police and that no new dollars be spent on policing in South Bend.

The first protest is scheduled for 7:45 a.m. at 711 Forest Avenue in South Bend.

The second protest is scheduled for 3:15 p.m. at the County-City building located at 227 W Jefferson Boulevard.
