Blustery and stormy today

Wind Advisory goes into effect for all of Michiana from 11AM to midnight tonight, with blustery conditions and gusts up to 50 mph, similar to Friday. Scattered storms likely in the afternoon hours, largest threat is the damaging winds, though a tornado chance cannot be ruled out, especially for folks south of US-30. A widespread line of storms pushed by a cold front rips through our area in the overnight hours, bringing us heavy rain. The cold front also smacks down our temperatures, and Michiana will be waking up to falling snow Monday morning.
Winter Weather Advisory is issued for Berrien, Cass, and St. Joseph counties in Michigan, as well as Northern LaPorte, St. Joseph, Elkhart, and Lagrange counties in Indiana from 8AM Monday until 11AM Tuesday at the moment. Snow accumulation through Tuesday morning over 3 inches possible for areas in the aforementioned counties, particularly our friends close to the lake. Gusty conditions continue, with low visibility and slick conditions expected during commute times. Highs settle in the mid 20s, through feels like temperatures are expected to be in the single digits into Wednesday morning. Wednesday does start a warm up, after some morning snow, with some more sun expected in the back half of the week, and a return to more mild temperatures.
