ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- The Indiana Department of Transportation will host a hearing to offer the public an opportunity to review and comment on preliminary design plans regarding a proposed intersection improvement project at SR 23 and Adams Rd.

The hearing will be held on March 24 at Granger Missionary Church, 50841 Birch Road, Granger, Indiana 46530. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. for an open house to give the public time to view displays and talk to project representatives. A formal presentation will begin at 6 p.m., followed by an opportunity for verbal statements for the record.

The preferred alternative includes the re-alignment of Adams Road to the north and the construction of a single lane roundabout approximately 250 feet northeast of the existing intersection location. The purpose of the project is to improve the level of service and safety of the intersection.
