Boa constrictor found on Massachusetts porch

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- A Massachusetts woman found a Red Tailed Boa constrictor on her front porch.

The four-foot snake was lying between her front door and her screen door and scared the woman enough to call the police.

"I go into this little nook here - look at this area here and here is this boa constrictor almost saying 'good morning Irene,'" said Irene Monroe. "What if I had a heart condition? I felt like I had one today, you know I almost went into cardiac arrest!"

The snake has a new home at a pet store.

The four-year-old snake could grow up to 18 feet.
