SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- A body was discovered inside of a car outside Kroger's supermarket on Ireland Road in South Bend Monday evening.
Kroger's employees say they found a man dead inside of a grey Mitsubishi Eclipse after receiving complaints from customers about a foul smell in the parking lot.
South Bend Police officers taped off a large portion of the parking lot during the investigation.
No one knew how long the car had been in the lot.
The store remained open while officers were on scene.
The St. Joseph County Coroner came out and determined that the man likely died of natural causes.
