Boil order for Goshen residents

GOSHEN, Ind. – The city of Goshen issued a boil water order for Friday, July 6th.

The water at Tenth Street from Jefferson to Purl Streets will be shut off from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

City officials and the Indiana Department of Environmental Management, once construction starts water will not be safe to drink or cook if it is not boiled for at least five minutes before consumption.

Water is safe for flushing the toilet and showering.

Residents should continue to boil all cooking and drinking water until the city states the water is safe.
