BRISTOL, Ind. -- Today marks the start of a new season at the Bonneyville Mill.
The county park is officially starting up the historic mill again and is opening up for visitors.
First built in 1837, Bonneyville is the oldest operating grist mill in The Hoosier State and teaches visitors about the old-fashioned ways food was processed and where their food really comes from before it appears on a grocery store shelf.
This year also marks the 50th season for Bonneyville Mill as a county park.
It's open Wednesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
It's free to enter, but a guided tour does cost two dollars per person.
