Bowl bought at yard sale sells for millions

A 1,000 year old Chinese bowl bought at a yard sale for $3 just sold for more than $2 million.

A man bought the bowl at a yard sale and then it sat on his shelf for five years.

After a bidding frenzy online an anonymous bidder paid millions.

Experts say if something is old there will be a much bigger chance that it is worth some money.

"Always buy what appeals to you and you will never go wrong," said Andrew Funnell, appraiser.

Some more advice from the experts: Next time you browse items at a flea market definitely pay close attention to those trinkets.
