SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The City of South Bend has announced that, starting Monday, April 15, Brick Road from Cleveland Road to Dylan Drive will be closed for a road widening project.

"With this section of Brick Road serving as a detour route for the upcoming Ameritech-Cleveland Intersection Improvements Project, a new temporary stop sign will also be installed for westbound traffic at the Brick Road – Dylan Drive intersection," city officials said. "The detour route for the closure is Carbonmill Drive via Ameritech and Dylan drives."

Brick Road is expected to be reopened by the end of the day Wednesday, April 24, weather permitting.
