Building blitz in tornado damaged Henryville

HENRYVILLE, Ind. -- Hundreds of volunteers are working to rebuild Henryville homes flattened by the March 2 tornado.

Habit for Humanity is behind the building blitz, and they plan to build five homes in 10 days.

It is the miracle residents have been hoping for.

"Our whole community's come out. People from all across the country have come, and they're putting up the walls this week," said Michelle Freidly. She is one of the residents getting a new home.

More than 250 volunteers are believed to be on-site for the projects.

Home improvement retailer Lowe's helped support the project with a $100,000 grant.
