SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- A new licensed and bonded firm is set to open in South Bend this week, called cobra credit.
The firm’s mission is to help clients build and improve their credit scores.
Officials say many credit reports have some inaccurate information in them because credit reports are handled by various collection agencies.
Officials also say information can also sometimes get mixed up between people with similar names or family members.
Cobra Credit officials say that's the sort of information they look for.
Lance Laughlin, Founder/President, Cobra Credit says “Don’t be afraid. Don’t be shy. Everything we do is private, everything is confidential. Come on in, reach out, whatever it takes, but definitely act sooner than later, because the sooner you get it on the correct path, the more money you’re gonna save.”
Cobra Credit will have a grand opening Friday from Noon to 7pm at their office on Eddy Street Commons.
