Car accident in Elkhart County sends two to hospital

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. -- Two were sent to the hospital Monday in Elkhart County when a driver allegedly ran a red light.

This happened at the intersection of Indiana 120 and Indiana 13 just outside Bristol.

A witness told the Elkhart County Sheriff's Department a red car heading east, ran a red light and hit a white Cadillac heading north.

Both the driver and the passenger of the white car were taken to Elkhart General Hospital. One complained of chest pain and the other person's injury was unknown.

The driver of the red car was not hurt.
