WALKERTON, Ind. -- A viewer submitted a picture of a car that was nearly vertical on an electrical pole.
It happened Sunday afternoon in Walkerton on Liberty Street and Tyler Road.
Police said the driver lost control of her car because of the slippery roads. The back end of her car spun 180-degrees and rammed up the power pole.
Police said they were waiting for Nipsco to take the car down because of the way it was sitting.
One wrong maneuver could have caused a power outage for a nearby town.
The driver was not hurt in the accident.
