Two cars involved in crash on CR 30
ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. -- Two cars were involved in a crash on Friday night around 9:05 p.m. on C.R. 30.
Oscar Valdez, 22, of Goshen, Indiana was driving a 2005 Toyota Scion along with a passenger east bound on C.R. 30 approaching C.R. 3 and failed to stop at the stop sign and proceeded to enter the intersection.
Martha Owen, 32, of Wakarusa, Indiana was driving a 2000 Saturn SL north bound on C.R. 3 approaching C.R. 30.
Owen did not have a stop sign and collided with Valdez on the front passenger side.
Owen was unable to stop or avoid the collision.
Valdez was transported by ambulance to Elkhart General Hospital for complaint of pain all over.
Owen was transported by ambulance to Elkhart General Hospital for a complaint of neck, head, and knee pain.
The passenger was also transported by ambulance to Elkhart General Hospital for complaint of back and knee pain.
Valdez was cited for failing to yield to the right of way and failing to stop at the stop sign.
