Chicago sees high heat, wind

CHICAGO -- It was windy in the Windy City.
Chicago saw wind gusts up to 45 miles an hour. And that wasn't the only thing it was seeing.
Temperatures were predicted to reach 97 degrees.
Residents trying to cool off local pools found them closed. About 12 of the city's pools weren't able to open on time.
