Child hit by a car in South Bend

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Dispatch confirmed they received a call around 9:30 p.m. Saturday that a child was hit by a car near St. Patrick’s Parish in South Bend.
The child was taken to a hospital and the extent of their injuries is currently unknown, dispatch says.
There is currently no information on the driver or the cause of the accident.
Police are investigating the accident and the scene is clear.
