Christmas tree made out of books

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- South Bend's main library will be trimming an unusual tree this Christmas.

For the first time, the library's decorative tree will be made entirely from book titles, more than 600 of them.

"It's a tradition that’s popping up all around the country kind of in a lot of places have them, and it's something that we thought would fit very well  with what we provide here at the library," said library communications executive Jennifer Zent.

It took library employees about three hours to get all the books stacked just right but they are not done yet. They said they will finish decking the tree out with a string of lights.
