Classes cancelled at St. Joseph High School Wednesday

ST. JOSEPH, Mich. – School is cancelled for students at St. Joseph High School in Michigan on Wednesday as law enforcement finalize an investigation into a threat made to the school, superintendent Jenny Fee announced.

Students were dismissed from classes on Tuesday morning due to a threat written in three bathrooms at the school.

On Tuesday evening, a 16-year-old St. Joseph student admitted to making the threats and is now in custody.

While the threat has been resolved and there is no immediate danger to staff or students, Fee said more time is needed to finalize the investigation and ensure students can feel safe when they return to classes.

Classes will resume on Thursday.
