ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. - Notre Dame Football Head Coach Marcus Freeman is making sure his players aren’t distracted by the “noise” surrounding Saturday’s game between the Fighting Irish and the Ohio State Buckeyes.
Number six Ohio State is favored by three points ahead of the game, and ESPN’s College Game Day is making its way to campus for the matchup.
Despite that, Freeman is focused on preparing players to go up against a great team, and wants his players focused on that, too.
"You got two good teams and that's the focus right? It’s not about where I was or where I went to school or anybody else, it's about preparing your team to face a really good Ohio State team and I'm sure on the other hand, Ohio State has the same mentality,” Freeman said.
This will be Freeman’s second time facing his alma mater with the Irish.
