Coffee could protect against oral cancers

A new study says people who downed at least four cups of the caffeinated stuff a day had half the risk of dying of mouth r throat cancer, compared with non-coffee drinkers.

The findings held true even among coffee drinkers who also smoked or drank alcohol. Doctors are still working to find out why coffee seems to be preventative.
