Congressman Rudy Yakym on Iran conflict

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- ABC57 spoke with Congressman Rudy Yakym on Friday about the strikes on Iran. 

Yakym stated President Trump took decisive action in Iran and he supports what the administration has done so far. 

"Iran is someone who, over the course of the last nearly 50 years, they have a lot of American blood on their hands, and that current regime certainly has been taken out. But at the same time, we've got to make sure that American interests are protected in the Middle East.", stated Yakym.

Yakym also stated he spoke with President Trump earlier this week and was told the hope is to end the strikes quickly.
