Congressman Upton to tour more Michigan farms

MICHIGAN -- Michigan Congressman Fred Upton will tour more area farms on Thursday to get a better look at crop damage and to talk more about the re-authorization of the farm bill.

This spring, heavy frosts destroyed most of the fruit crops in Southwest Michigan.

Upton will tour Miller Farms in White Pigeon. Afterward, he will host a roundtable dicussion. Upton will also meet with the Michigan Milk Producers Association.
