Cooler weather keeps people off the beach

SILVER BEACH, Mich. -- Cooler weather scared some people away from the beach.

ABC 57 traveled to Silver Beach and saw only a few people brave enough to weather the cold weather.

One beach goer said it was worth the shot given how beautiful the conditions have been the past few days.

"It was nice yesterday, but it was really cold today... that's why we're leaving early," said Brian Nemitz.

Nemitz said he probably won't go back to the beach until the temperatures jump at least 10-degrees.
