Cops make an unusual find during a seatbelt enforcement stop

AURORA, Colo. -- Police in one Colorado made an unusual discovery during a seat belt enforcement stop.

During the stop the police discovered a gas can strapped into a child safety seat.

As for the kid, the toddler was strapped with only a lap belt in the back seat.

Colorado law requires that all children under the age of eight be in a child safety seat when traveling in a motor vehicle.

The driver received three violations.
