The Tim Corbett for Sheriff campaign announced on Monday he has picked up two additional votes and officially filed for a recount.
The campaign says Corbett gained two additional votes when the St. Joseph County Election board reviewed provisional ballots.
That means William Redman has just 16 more votes than Corbett in the St. Joseph County Sheriff's race.
The campaign formally filed its petition for a recount on Monday afternoon.
Corbett is requesting a recount of 225 precincts and will pay a cash deposit of $2,250 for the recount.
