COVID-19 vaccinations are available in Benton Harbor

BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. – Lake Michigan College in Benton Harbor has appointments available for the community on Tuesday. The clinic will be dosing out the Moderna vaccine from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Anyone 18 and older can reserve their appointment by calling (269) 927-5100 or self-scheduling an appointment online here.

Walk-in appointments will be taken throughout the day while the supply is available.

Community members that get vaccinated will need a second dose of the vaccine to help boost the immune response and provide long-term protection against COVID-19, Spectrum Health Lakeland stated. A second appointment of the Moderna vaccine will be scheduled for May 25.

This vaccine clinic is completely free. Insurance is not required to register for the vaccine, but if a community member does have insurance, they are asked to provide it while scheduling. Be sure to bring an ID to the clinic.
